We are a project of Corcoran Neighborhood:
Please designate your donation to the market.
"The Midtown Farmers Market is an awesome farmer's market. You buy
directly from local farmers --- not from some of the wholesalers you see
at other markets."
Lucia Watson of Lucia's restaurant

As much as we love 'em, the Midtown Farmers Market does not allow dogs in the market area. But, you may tie your dog up outside the market area when you visit.
"Thank you from myself, from my family, from my neighborhood. This market
is deeply important in building the wholeness of our community.."
Sandy Spieler, Artistic Director of Heart of the Beast Puppet Theater

Thanks to all of our vendors, customers, and volunteers who made the 2009 season a success!
Have a wonderful winter...we will see you next May! |
Eagles club fundraiser update
Last Saturday's sun made for a perfect market afternoon, and when customers, vendors, and volunteers started to feel chilled by the November air they could make their way into the Eagles Club for delicious chili and bread and great market music! It was wonderful to see everyone again a few weeks into the off-season. Thank you to the volunteers who put so much work into making this event happen, the vendors who participated in the market, the musicians who played for us, and everyone who came to support the Midtown Farmers' Market. We raised over $1,000 dollars for the market and received a generous donation of $4,100 from Wells Fargo. These funds will enable us to keep improving and building upon our community's market!
Back L-R: Emily Hennemann, Andrea Voelke, Garth Bender, Gerry Tyrrell.
Front L-R: Brenda Lindell, Katie Simon-Dastych, Naomi Karstad, Carolyn Roby

Read what local buyers are saying about the right price of the
Midtown Farmers' Market
Check out the latest blog post on martha&tom.com if you're curious about what kind of deal you're getting at the market. The post compares farmers' market, co-op, and generic grocery store prices. Interesting stuff!
